The Waterfront Restaurant is a popular dining spot for locals, tourists, and business gatherings. We change our menu seasonally; and we often change it nightly. By seasonally changing our menu, you can be sure that your meal will always be fresh and we are sure to have entrees to match your mood. We stock a full bar, we have a martini for every occasion, and we can walk you through our extensive wine list. We also invite you to enjoy a glass of Champagne on one of the outside patios overlooking the pristine sunsets over Green Bay.
All of the delicious entrees at The Waterfront Restaurant are prepared fresh daily, pastas are rolled by hand, beef is cut specifically for us, and the fish comes from both our own local waters surrounding Door County or it is flown in fresh from locations in Hawaii, Alaska, East Coast, and West Coast.
As the growing season progresses in Door County, our menu is always adapting to the freshness and the quality of ingredients that are available to us from farmers around the area. World trained and traveled, Chef Jesse Johnson will create vegan, vegetarian, or any other special dining needs you or your table might request.
Chef Jesse Johnsons Bio
Restaurants & food began at an early age for me. I grew up through the kitchen brigade in my family's restaurant, starting on milk crates doing dishes, until I could finally reach the back of the grill to cook.
I searched for another trade, lived and studied in Brazil, and traveled in Europe, only to keep returning to a passion for food. Upon returning to the United States, I enrolled in Culinary School and went on to cooking and studying wine in France. The next fall Waterfront Restaurant opened its doors. During my off-season I have traveled and cooked in some amazing restaurants around the world, and I am happy to share my tastes and experiences with all of you!
